Ghritacharyā took shape from what I see consistently in Ayurvedic practice — skin heals best when it is deeply nourished, not overstimulated. 

In Ayurveda, ghrita has always been used for healing. I have worked with medicated ghee and Shatadhauta Ghrita in my clinical practice for years, especially for skin that is sensitive, stressed, or not responding well to regular skincare. 

For Ghritacharyā, we stayed close to this knowledge. The ghee is medicated with herbs using the classical Ghritapaak method and then prepared as medicated Shatadhauta Ghrita. 

Herbs such as Yashtimadhu, Shatavari, Manjishtha, and Bala are chosen because I trust them. They are safe, nourishing, and support skin healing over time. With Ghritacharyā, medicated ghee is not an ingredient — it is at the heart of our care. 

This is more than skincare. It is Ayurveda, woven into daily life.
